Another cleverly designed project, this ground floor maisonette now celebrates a two bedroom and open plan kitchen living area. Originally, the ceilings and floors were insulated with asbestos, a now undesirable and hazardous material. Once this had been stripped out, the ceilings were sound insulated to create a barrier with the above neighbours. New plastering a skimming across the property as well as bespoke ground tiling compliments the new wooden feature wall. The steel beams installed to support the property above have been left exposed and painted with appropriate paint, giving the property a very rustic yet contemporary design.
